Students select from a range of courses according to their strengths and interests. At NCEA Level 1 and Level 2, students will either be completing a more academic course incorporating algebraic and graphical reasoning or one where the mathematical methods are applied more contextually.  In Year 13 the courses specialise into Calculus and Statistics. Calculus is the mathematical study of continuous change. In Statistics we use computer technology to study, analyse, and make sense of large amounts of data.
