Enrol with us
Our curriculum design guides students and provides a range of subjects that support our holistic approach to education. Students are encouraged to study broadly in the junior school, discovering their interests in a range of learning areas. Student course selections then become more specialised in the senior school as they discover more about themselves and what they need to be well-prepared for life beyond school.
We look forward to welcoming both students and whaanau into our school.
Curriculum
Students across year levels take both compulsory subjects and subjects chosen by the student. Click on the relevant subject information button on the right in order to be prepared to discuss subject choices in an enrolment interview.
Enrolment interviews are required for new students enrolling in Years 10 to 13 and Year 9 out-of-zone students accepted by the ballot. Year 9 students in zone will only have an interview with a dean if requested. Year 9 students for 2027 will make their option choices in Term 3 via a form emailed through.

Out-of-zone Students
Applications from students who do not live within the home zone specified in the school’s enrolment scheme will be subject to the selection procedure specified in the Education and Training Act 2020.
Under The Act:
First priority must be given to students who meet the criteria for enrolment in an approved special programme run by the school. Our school has no such programme.
Second priority must be given to siblings of current students.
Third priority must be given to siblings of former students.
Fourth priority must be given to children of former students.
Fifth priority must be given to children of Board employees or Board members.
Sixth priority must be given to all other students.
In situations where the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, a ballot will be held. If a ballot is required at our school, it will be held and supervised by a sworn member of the New Zealand Police Force.
Out-of-zone enrolment applications for 2027 close on June 25, with a ballot to take place on June 26 if applications exceed capacity. Parents will be notified of the outcome of the ballot on June 30.
