The jazz bands at CHS are for students with at least one year of experience on their instrument who would like to explore a range of jazz styles including funk, latin and swing. The groups will aim to perform in festivals such as the NZ Youth Jazz Festival and the Waikato Music Festival.

Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Vocalist.
