The Year 11 courses offer a challenging, achievable programme for this level of study. Level 1 English explores making meaning of a range of texts – in particular literature and film. The texts selected are to engage student’s curiosity and encourage them to be creative and critical in their assessments.

Our teachers are dedicated to ensuring students gain the necessary Literacy credits needed to achieve NCEA Level 1, as well as the 14 credits needed to achieve the subject of English.
