New uniform - updated hours @ The Uniform Shoppe

Thank you to everyone who attended today’s first back-to-school uniform fit-out session. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while our retail staff did their absolute best to assist each family. The turnout was fantastic, and we are grateful for the support shown throughout the day.

To ensure parents and caregivers have sufficient time to fit out their children before the end of the year, we have decided to open an additional session this weekend.

The Uniform Shoppe Cambridge store will be open at the following times:

Thursday 18th December: 12:00pm – 5:30pm

Saturday 20th December: 9:00am – 1:00pm

We hope these additional hours provide greater flexibility and ease during this busy period.

Please note that the new jackets are not currently available. The new school socks and jumpers are in stock.

Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to continuing to support the Cambridge High School community.

Welcome to Cambridge High School

The Cambridge High School Board would like to issue the following statement:

Cambridge High School is committed to ensuring the highest possible standards in educational
achievement for all students.

Cambridge High School honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi and we acknowledge the place on which our school sits, celebrating our relationship with Ngaati Korokii-Kahukura, Ngaati Hauaa and Waikato Tainui.  We are proud to be an integral part of the community, working collaboratively to improve outcomes for the youth of Cambridge.

The Cambridge High School Board recognises the role and responsibility entrusted by our community to give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through good governance, teaching excellence, core learning, and everyday practices.  We believe that the principles of partnership, protection and participation, support and enhance our schools REACH values (Realise your Potential, Engage with Purpose, Act with Integrity, Care for People and Places, Have Courage to Succeed). We continue to apply these principles every day.

This welcome in speaks of standing atop Maungatautari and looking out to the Waikato River as it snakes to the sea. It proudly locates us in the Waikato and welcomes you to our community, Te Oko Horoi (Cambridge).

Established in 1883, Cambridge High School (CHS) has a proud tradition of meeting the educational needs of our local community. Our roll of 1800 enables us to offer our diverse school population a wide range of academic, cultural, and sporting opportunities. The school successfully combines modern facilities, a progressive education programme and high expectations of student achievement. Our aim at CHS is to provide students with opportunities to reach their potential through an inspiring holistic education. In addition to academic achievement and qualifications, we highly value the development of the individual in a safe and positive learning environment. Our school motto “Fortiter et Recte” reminds us to have the ‘courage to do what is right’ and this is based in our REACH values.

We are proud to be an integral part of the Cambridge community school and value the support we receive in providing an excellent well-rounded education. Our positive results in so many areas of school life reflect the combined effort of the students, staff, parents, and the school Board. Students graduate Cambridge High School well-prepared for life beyond school with choices, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
