COVID-19 UPDATES: 16 November 2021
With the latest announcement Waikato are now to move to Alert Level 2 at 11.59pm Tuesday 16 November, for sport this means that we revert to the WSSSA recommendation on return to play below under the guidelines that the WSSSA Executive Committee has previously approved of a minimum 5-day Return to Play protocol. RSOs have been reminded of the minimum 5-day Return to Play protocol also meaning they will be aware that the principals executive has agreed the first competition date is no earlier than Monday 22 November.
The WSSSA Executive Committee has advised the following regarding the commencement of Term 4 Summer sport:
* when the Waikato region returns to Level 2 all Term 4 sport can continue under existing Level 2 guidelines, which includes NO SPECTATORS.
NB NO SPECTATORS rationale: It remains a difficult proposition for schools to supervise and ensure physical distancing in sporting environments.
ALL of the CHS Sport and Cultural facilities are now closed until Monday 22nd November when they will reopen. Cleaning requirements will be in place and will be posted on here.
Please follow the CHS Facebook page for information as it comes to hand.
