Peer Support

Peer support goes for Term 1  and  Year 13 students are trained leaders for small groups of Year 9 students.

The idea of the programme is to help Year 9 students adapt to High School life, and gain skills, knowledge and confidence to interact with their peers in a positive way.

Yr 9 students have a full day of activities at the start of the year and then a weekly meeting with their Peer Support Leaders covering topics such as peer pressure, communication, co-operation, and bullying.
