Fees

Annual Tuition Fee – 2007 $NZ11,000

Includes ESOL Tuition and curriculum text books on loan. Does not include TOEFL, IELTS, or NZQA examination entry fees. This is required in advance for a full year’s study.

Expenses - $NZ1,000

This payment is kept on account for the student to cover uniform, stationery and other expenses, including outdoor education excursion fees, school trips, sports affiliation fees etc

The unused balance, if any, is refunded when the student completes their schooling at Cambridge High School.

We have our own uniform shop at school.

Insurance 1 Year - approx $NZ420

Travel / medical / property insurance is a condition of enrolment. This can be arranged by the Director with Uni-care which includes assisting students with their claims and other policy matters.

Homestay - $NZ175 per week

Our quality homestay programme is administered by the school. Payment is required in advance. To satisfy student visa requirements, a student’s homestay account should always be in credit of one term’s homestay. Homestays provide a furnished room per student, all meals, laundry, plus care and guidance, and is organised by the Director who maintains regular contact with the homestays, students and student’s family as well as assisting with the student’s out of school needs.

Students who wish to retain their room at their homestay while they are absent during holiday periods for seven or more consecutive nights will be required to pay a retaining fee of $50.00 per week. If the absence is for less than seven nights, the full rate will apply. Any absence must have written permission from parents.

Annual Placement and Supervision Fee $250

This provides ongoing contact and supervision of the student and the homestay by the Director of International Students, advice and guidance, renewal of student visas, assistance with medical, dental, and banking needs, and by agreement, managing payment of student accounts.

As part of the programme students will be met at Auckland International Airport and conveyed to their homestay.

All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax ("GST") at the rates of 0%, 7.5% or 12.5% depending on the nature of the supply. This is a New Zealand government tax payable on the supply of goods and services. If the GST rate increases, we reserve the right to change our fees accordingly.
