Curriculum

A full academic programme is provided to International Students studying at Cambridge High School. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for university and other tertiary institutions.

The National Curriculum is offered in the learning areas of English and other languages, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Social Sciences, Commerce, Arts and Physical Education. All students are given access to email and the Internet through our extensive information technology network.

An extensive ESOL course is also provided by specialist teachers, including one to one and in-class assistance where necessary, preparing students for New Zealand ( NCEA credits) and overseas ( IELTS/ TOEFL/ TOEIC/ City-and- Guilds) examinations. Our courses are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority under the provisions of the Education Act 1989, and Cambridge High School is accredited to teach them.

Cambridge High School is also an approved City-and-Guilds Qualification Testing Centre.
